Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is looking so interesting that I actually want to skip over Spider-Man 3 and go straight to that movie.
We saw Spider-Man: Spideyverse animated movie and now there is a game for the upcoming famed spidey character Miles Morales. But to see other Marvel characters go through the multiverse storyline is far rarer. The only other time I remember something like this happening was in the ’90s, in the comics, and DC comic characters were involved. Just clash of the titans, Captain America vs Thor, Huk vs Superman, and others.
So far in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness we know and maybe understand already why Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) will be in the movie. We don’t know if Vision will be there all fixed up. Like I mentioned on the WandaVision article, In Avengers: Infinity War we know that they tried to remove the Mind Stone but was to late. Vision (Paul Bettany) can still be Vision without the stone. Or will the bring another “Vision” from another universe to replace the original? As far as I know Doctor strange will either fight Wanda or help her close the open multiverses. We are hoping for a fight, why? Who wouldn’t want to finally meet Scarlett Witch?! Who wouldn’t want her to finally meet her dad, Magneto, and be reunited with her brother?
New news: Chris Evans’s Steve Rogers aka Captain America will be reprising his role as the Chris Evans’ Johnny Storm Human Torch on 2005’s Fantastic 4. He also might have a Captain America role too, the catch? The evil Captain America that works for Hydra.
Marvel is also trying to get Jessica Alba to reprise her Sue Richards aka The Invisible Woman in Doctor Strange 2 movie as well.
Let’s be clear. This is the type of movie you make, study people’s reactions and then make a better one. This is within the “learning how to make good movies” time frame sad to say which we talked about in our Fallout 4 video game chat. Don’t get me wrong they made another one also but it was just, not real enough within the Marvel Universe? If that makes sense. I just hope that Chris Evans can deliver on his classic acting for Human Torch. I also hope that Chris Evans’ Johnny Storm Human Torch meets Steve Rogers aka Captain America just for the shits and giggles, I mean they already did future Captain America and past Captain America so why not take this to “Expendables” level of comedy?!
But shouldn’t that mean that Michael B. Jordan’s Johnny Storm aka Human Torch would appear with his group? That is another situation that would be fun to watch. 2 Fantastic 4s meet up and talk? Or fight?
When this movie came out they wanted to create a darker Fantastic 4 story which could have worked but it didn’t have those little jokes between serious scenes. It was just too serious. I actually liked how dark the show got when they got their abilities but then they killed Doom and they didn’t show much of them completing anything. Though some ideas in the movie were pretty cool. The thing actually looked great instead of an orange… the fruit!
As I was looking up the proper link to these movies I find a new logo ready to be displayed for a new movie. I’m hoping they’ll be able to bring back the Fantastic 4 properly. I’m even hoping to somehow retain their original stories of the second version but I’m not holding my breath. We will have to see. Most likely they will do what they did with Spider-Man and just throw them in without an origin story.
