I got the Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 GPS. It’s beautiful! But how do you sync the watch to the phone? And why does it have to be this difficult to sync your Google Fit app to it? And why do I feel like Neil Patrick Harris’ Doogie Howser M.D. whenever I ask questions on my blog?!
First off, for most that don’t know anything about Doogie Howser… Blame your parents! If you don’t know Neil Patrick Harris, well… that’s your fault cause he is awesome!
For those looking to buy this product, so far I’ve had no problems with it, if you are interested in this product:
Anyways! It’s always hard to play with new technology that really doesn’t do much except tell time on your wrist when it’s made in another country and they want you to use their apps. All I want to do is sync my watch to Google Fit. Why wouldn’t it do that when you add your email like the phone you buy, I don’t know but here are proper steps to making sure you can quickly and easily sync your Google Fit from your watch to your phone after a good workout.
First things first you need to download their app. Click here to download
Google Play Store: Mobvoi App
Apple Store: Mobvoi App
Create an account with Mobvoi. Just to point out, it wasn’t easy to create an account with them. Their website has some small issues. Well, when I tried to make an account with them. I had to email them. But they were good with the emails.
Once logged in click on “Health Information”
Click the profile on the bottom right corner of your screen.
Then click on the “pencil” link? thing!!
Click the “update health data to server” button
Then last but not least, click the “Google Fit” button
There you go! You are all hooked up! Your welcome!! Now so far it disconnected when my watch died or when it disconnected from the phone. Which, I guess that makes sense.
