Yes, I’m talking about breakfast! But I’m also talking about restaurant businesses all together? Sure let’s go with that! Me applauding a business that helps me and my business grow!! I’m talking about Manhatten Bagel, I don’t know about others so I’ll be more specific.

I’ve lived in Union NJ now more than I have in NY, which is about 24ish years? 23… 22 and a half! Anyways, I’m with this cute chick and she goes “You wanna try Manhattan Bagel?” I said sure, and I had to go get some bread rolls and portuguese sausage from the local Seabras. I have to say, I really wished I came to this play 20 years ago!! Everything that I have ordered so far has been amazingly well done. Soft bread, side note: I believe that good bread makes up 70% of the sandwich, if the bread sucks then the whole sandwich sucks. Eggs, meats cooked right. Their app works well too so I can make my order and pick it up on the way to my meetings and so on. I just wanted to show you guys so positive vibes.
O MAN!!!! When I lived in NY my family, to go to the high school we would take the bus. My brother and I would sometimes walk if we woke up early enough. We would walk 3 miles to Mount Vernon High School but on the way there we would stop by the little corner deli shop and the guy would make the best egg, cheese, tailored ham on a roll wrapped in aluminum foil for $3.50. Nelson and I would order one and split it while we walked to school, best sandwiches ever FUCKING made!! Manhattan Bagel… Nailed it! Can you imagine someone making a food that reminds you of your childhood? Ya, that’s what they did!!
For all other restaurants, you guys should be taking notes! These guys have a good thing going for them and I hope they keep it going. Even during the pandemic, they found a system that works and they are going with it. If you guys aren’t getting the amount of customer traffic you guys are wanting them you guys should switch up your system or if it’s not your system you guys should be calling us. We have worked on several restaurant projects but they are mostly menus. We don’t usually post those in our portfolio but we have done well with the local restaurants in the area. I’ll admit I don’t usually eat out, which is a good thing cause I’m keeping my cooking skills up!! But during the pandemic, my woman and I have been trying out some spots locally to help the local businesses as much as we can. I’m a small business owner as well. I understand how hard it is to stay afloat. Keep up the good work Manhattan Bagel.
