Ya… Assholes, really? Now you wanna do this you dumb son of a… Buttholes! So, that’s how I’m starting this article! Everyone is going to have to decide if they are going to stick with Comcast because they are regular people with specific family status or jump ship to Verizon or any other service cause your a gamer and movie buff and you raised your kids to be the same way.
Apparently, someone in that company thought this would be a fantastic idea, dumbass. Comcast will hit customers with an extra charge for using too much data starting on January 1st, 2021.
Millions of Americans have moved online to work from home, stream TV shows & movies, or take classes remotely, the dumb asses at Comcast is imposing a 1.2-terabyte data cap to 39 states where it operates. Comcast, which has 30.1 million total subscribers, told FOX Business that the data cap does not impact 95% of their customers, so they say. But the limit can be easily reached for customers who are on daily Zoom meetings and stream shows, according to Fox News’s Brett Larson. “Of everything you’re doing at home it’s mostly done online,” Larson told FOX Business’ Varney & Company. “And it’s all using up an unknown amount of data that you could end up paying extra for.”
Streaming Netflix’s popular show “The Crown” in 4K resolution takes up an estimated 7 gigabytes an hour and 280 gigabytes for the entire season, or over a fourth of a terabyte, according to Larson. Meanwhile, a Zoom call can cost one-and-a-half gigabytes an hour. For two kids taking online classes eight hours a day every week for school tacks on an additional 192 gigabytes each month.
A lot of people have been dropping their cable service to replace it with online streaming. Comcast and other companies have been trying to scramble to figure out how to replace that revenue. “It’s all about money,” senior policy counsel for Consumer Reports Jonathan told FOX Business. “At home, whether you set up a Wi-Fi network or not, it’s all you can eat. You don’t really think twice about how much internet you’re using or consuming because it’s unlimited. That’s about to change.”
Maybe if they actually had TV shows and movies that didn’t replay over and over cable wouldn’t be so boring. All the commercials don’t help either. Play 2 commercials at a time, 3 times per 45 minutes. What’s wrong. The real problem is that if people stay with Comcast how long will Verizon and others join them? This is us taking a step back from what our homes should be. If you ask me, I want to spend my money on services that always give me the maximum service for the same price. For a company to change this service because they didn’t expect cable TV to go downhill so soon shouldn’t be punished on their customers. This was going to happen. We all knew it but like greedy little bitches they wanted to milk it for as long as possible. It’s no different than what we are doing with coal and oil and other services.
Where the hell is Google in all this? They were supposed to have internet services as well. Why haven’t they pushed their service to the northeast yet? They offer are more affordable and more internet services.
