So many American businesses are looking for financial assistance. Even us. So what’s happening and what’s going to happen? No more money, no more help.
Drawlines, along with so many other businesses are looking for some type of financial help from the government but even though we applied early… We got nothing. No email. No phone call. Nothing. While other businesses got the loan. The way this has been set up is just one tragedy after another. The Small Business Administration said that as of April 16, the agency is unable to accept any new applications for the Paycheck Protection Program or the Economic Injury Disaster Loans due to a lack of funding. The agency added that this includes the grants from the Economic Injury Disaster Loans but said that applicants who have already submitted applications to the EIDL program itself (not the grants) will “continue to be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.”
We don’t know what’s going to happen at this point but obviously, the government did not think of the grand total and the mass amount of assistance that will be needed at the beginning of all this. We will just have to see. There is nothing we can do at this point but to keep working remotely and hopefully keep the business stable.
As rent and mortgages come around for a second month. People waiting for unemployment is still waiting for unemployment in hopes that it will come better late than never.
