My girl comes up to me and mentions some show on Netflix… which I already know I’ll most likely not like. The show is called Sex/Life, I’m guessing “Sex Life” has already been taken? The show isn’t really my type of show. But like every show the first two episodes are pretty good. It’s like 50 Shades of gray? I never saw that though but I’m guessing it’s something like that? My girl wrote about her thoughts about the show if anyone is interested in a women’s point of view of the show.

The show starts with Billie (Sarah Shahi) and her husband Cooper (Mike Vogel) and their 2 kids. Apparently, their relationship isn’t as sexual as she thought it would be? Doesn’t help that the husband can’t keep his dick up long enough to make her happy which… fucking go down on her, finger her, get a vibrator… Jerk her off with your toes man! Something!

The show is about the wife having some type of mid-life crisis and she thinks back to the sexy crazy time with her ex Brad (Adam Demos). I mean, you have a husband that looks like he spent most of his time at work and the gym instead of looking after the kids so that way the wife can get a break. The wife looks like the closest thing she has done as a mom right after having two kids was pumping her breasts and going to the gym as well. I mean, I guess if you have a nanny looking after the kids you’ll have time for the gym… instead of being a parent. Just an observation! Everyone looks great and fit as all hell for some reason, lol! When your kids are that young, as a parent, your not worried about how you look. You are worried about the well-being of your new baby or babies. Didn’t see too much of that here. The ex I get, he is a bachelor and all.

I think the only realistic part of the show is Billie (Sarah Shahi) looking back to her past, the good old days. Everyone looks back to their years to see how they got to this point. See how much they have change fiscally, mentally, and emotionally. What doesn’t make sense is half the sex scenes and what the ex, Brad (Adam Demos), did to get back in her life. A perfect example (SPOILER ALERT), sleep with the best friend while live videoing it to Billie, what? First off, why would Billie watch that? Why would Billie’s friend be ok with Billie watching her ex banging her best friend? Why would Billie’s ex think that something like that would make her want him more? I don’t know, if these parents have this much time in their hands between 2 kids, work, and gym they need to pop out another kid or something!

This show does have nudity. I mean the story is about hot steamy sex so obviously this show is more towards women. So you see tits, ass, and dicks. There is a gym shower seen that women will like to go over. I’m glad that they have Billie (Sarah Shahi) the main character that has her own look and not the usual big breast, big ass shaped woman as the main character. Every woman has their own unique look and it’s nice to see the different shapes and curves of different women.

I’m not a big fan of the show, it just looked too ridiculous to me in this genre. The last episode was kind of a last second ‘what the hell’. You have to see it for yourself but I feel like this was a desperate attempt for Netflix to try to get some adult shows in there. Don’t get me wrong this is just my point of view on it. This is obviously more for a woman’s show and my woman was watching it I just happened to be in the same room with her. Though, my girl also watching shows like, Workin Moms… ya that’s more real than this show!
