With everything that has happened with the Capital riots and Trump. Parler, the social media website that apparently is populated with Trump supporters is now trying to sue Amazon. Really? I don’t think that’s a good idea. Parler hasn’t even found a web host service yet.

Parler is trying to place another antitrust violation by breach of contract and interference with the company’s business relationships with the companies users. For those that don’t know, “another…” which means there are more antitrust violations that Amazon, Apple, Facebook and Google are going through, click here to read more about that article. The complaint asks a federal court for a temporary restraining order against Amazon and calls Amazon Web Services’ decision a “death blow” to Parler. “Without AWS, Parler is finished as it has no way to get online,” the complaint said. “And a delay of granting this TRO by even one day could also sound Parler’s death knell as President Trump and others move on to other platforms.” Parler’s lawsuit argues that Amazon has unlawfully sought to restrain competition by eliminating a player from the market. Which I don’t understand that logic because Amazon isn’t in the business of posting notes and share images.

They also claim Amazon breached it’s contract with Parler by not providing Parler 30 days’ notice of termination — and that its actions interfere with Parler’s relationships with current and future users.
In a letter sent to Parler Chief Policy Officer Amy Peikoff on Saturday, Amazon Web Services said that in recent weeks it has reported 98 examples to Parler of “posts that clearly encourage and incite violence.” If you’d like to know more about the letter click this link.
